The Circular Plastics Factory
Due to their unique properties, such as strength, flexibility and low weight, plastics are still difficult to replace by alternatives. Their use is expected to increase from 350 million tonnes to over 1 billion tonnes in 2050. This leads to major challenges, such as waste, use of fossil raw materials and CO2 emissions. The use of circular plastics is the only way to reduce the footprint of plastics.
Circular Plastics Factory has everything to connect the different parts in the chain. From physical recycling, granulation to a fully circular end product, by means of injection moulding or other techniques. In combination with product development, design for recycling and logistics. That is the best part: a product leaves the factory and returns at a certain point to be processed again. The Circular Plastics Factory wants to convert as many customer issues as possible into high-quality applications, where as little as possible of the original material is lost.
Located in the former Van Niftrik factory in Putte, NL – once the cradle of the plastics industry and in the midst of forest.
